About the Role

We are currently seeking an International Tax Senior Accountant to join our tax practice in Vancouver or Toronto. This versatile role will involve working directly with a number of our staff and clients. We are looking for an individual who is committed to a career in taxation and has the desire to take a lead role in managing tax engagements and contributing both to the growth of the firm and our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review (where applicable) International individual and corporate tax returns
  • Verify tax assessments
  • Perform technical research and documenting tax plan recommendations
  • Correspond with clients, other advisors, and tax authorities
  • Coordinate and manage client accounts
  • Assist managers and partners with tax initiatives, including but not limited to developing and implementing tax planning strategies for clients
  • Understand, analyze, and research tax queries for clients, partners, senior managers, and managers
  • Collaborate with and support team members in providing exceptional client service
  • Provide leadership and direction to junior team members to ensure completion of filings by designated deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned
