About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team at Trader Tax Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, such as calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and reconciling accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances and statistical reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations by preparing tax returns and maintaining accurate records.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and balance general ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: Experience in accounting and bookkeeping is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
