Job Title: Line Cook

Foodco is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory and records.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet production and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English language.
Work Environment:

Foodco is a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will work in a supermarket/grocery store setting, preparing and cooking food for customers. You will be required to work in a team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
