About the Role

The BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Associate to join our team. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for processing staffing, scheduling, and other human resources tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly timekeeping, payroll, and human resource transactions
  • Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports as needed
  • Communicate closely with employees and payroll teams to ensure seamless processing of employee information
  • Coordinate vacation planning and scheduling for staff
  • Collaborate with the HR team to process HR transactions and assist on various HR projects
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in human resources, scheduling, and timekeeping
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws in BC and articles of Collective Agreements related to staffing and scheduling
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and familiarity with ESP Payroll Software
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
