Senior Manager, Credit Risk and Adjudication

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Credit Risk and Adjudication team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing workflows, coaching and training team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality credit risk assessments and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of analysts responsible for risk assessment analysis through risk rating tools, including template selection, to determine appropriateness of Borrower IG code and LGD.
- Monitor and manage the credit risk and adjudication process, including the review and escalation of matters requiring attention.
- Ensure timely completion of internal and regulatory reporting requirements in accordance with Bank policy and procedures.
- Champion efficiency and streamlining initiatives that impact not only CCRA but also external processes.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Credit units, Banking Units, Credit Process, Design & Training, Credit Risk Administration, and other Global Risk Management units.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on credit risk and adjudication matters to stakeholders.
- Strong background in finance and project management, with a broad range of industry fundamentals and financial products acquired through formal university education, related working experience, and/or post graduate training in a financial discipline.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements, risk rating processes, and credit policies, processes, and procedures.
- Ability to establish collaborative relationships within the unit, across GRM-Corporate Credit units, and with other internal partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex credit risk and adjudication concepts to stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to perform multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality work.
