Senior Manager, Structured Credit and Funds Risk Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Structured Credit and Funds Risk Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating credit adjudication of CLO warehouse financing and other non-bank financial institution portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Adjudicate credit proposals for CLO warehouses, investment funds, capital calls, pension funds, independent broker/dealers, and central clearing counterparties.
- Ensure prompt and timely adjudication of credit applications and periodic/annual reviews to ensure accurate analysis and sound recommendations.
- Provide recommendations and participate in discussions in Senior Credit Committees.
- Ensure new underwritings comply with established guidelines and limits, and provide rationale for exceptions.
- Lead annual industry reviews and present to senior management as an industry champion.
- Provide high-quality advice and counsel as a trusted advisor to business units globally.
- Ensure appropriate use of models and assignment of Borrower and Facility risk ratings in compliance with Bank guidelines and policy.
- Administer accounts and maintain the quality of the credit portfolio by staying up-to-date with external developments.
- Promote adequate governance by ensuring trading exposures are maintained within approved limits.
- Ensure credit data is accurately maintained on a timely basis.
- Identify areas for process improvement and initiate projects in consultation with business partners and stakeholders.
- Review documentation governing particular credit facilities as required.
- Provide recommendation and sign-off as necessary for Securities Based Swap transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field, and 7+ years of experience in credit/market risk analysis.
- Experience in Structured Products and CLO transactions is highly valued.
- Familiarity with fund financing structures for non-bank financial industries, including capital calls and trading facilities.
- Expert understanding of Bank lending policies and procedures, financial analysis, risk assessment techniques, credit structuring, collateral, and security documentations.
- Ability to keep up-to-date with new products and developments in financial services markets.
- Ability to make decisions and present recommendations to senior management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for professional interactions with business partners and senior management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, self-management, organization, and technical skills with attention to detail.
