Job Summary:The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Reservations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
- Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Administrative Tasks: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Technology: Utilize computerized bookkeeping systems, central reservation systems, and spreadsheet software.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort in a rural area.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, and ability to work under pressure.
