Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling to perform tasks.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and guidance to staff
    • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing customer demands and operational needs
