About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at WPH Restaurant Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding conditions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
