Senior Culinary Leader for Japanese Cuisine

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Chef to lead our kitchen team at Sansotei Ramen. As a culinary expert, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing kitchen staff and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. A strong background in Japanese cuisine is essential, with a focus on meat, poultry, and game dishes, as well as stocks, soups, and sauces. Additionally, experience with vegetables, fruits, nuts, and mushrooms is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate costs and quantities of food supplies and ingredients
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory, and sales
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques
- Develop new recipes and menus to enhance our offerings
- 5-10 years of experience in a senior chef role
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate staff
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
