Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and cash handling.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including promoting menu items and managing promotions.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that the restaurant is always stocked and ready to serve.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash handling procedures, including balancing cash and completing cash reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in electronic cash registers, MS Office, and point of sale systems.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
