About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Subway Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of 5-10 employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees to help them improve their performance.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
    • Provide customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and increase sales.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention.
  • Computer and Technology
    • Use MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word to manage restaurant operations and maintain accurate records.
    • Use a point of sale system to process transactions and manage inventory.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
    • Stand for extended periods and move around the restaurant to perform tasks.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Be accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient, and organized in your work.
    • Have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to multitask effectively.
