The RoleThis Business Development Representative role will be the first point of contact for prospective customers looking for information about our products and services.
You will provide outstanding customer service via phone and ensure existing customers are happy with the solutions we've provided.
As the primary support person for our Transit Sales Executives, operating out in the field, you will strive to create new business within assigned territories by reaching out to new accounts and introducing or selling new solutions.
You will work within our CRM system to enter sales orders and modify orders when required, coordinate sales processes and activities, make warm and cold calls to generate revenue growth and support strategic campaigns.
You will place outbound follow-up calls to sales leads, book appointments and webinars for the Sales Executives, update our CRM with activities and contact records, and provide follow-up to existing/prospective customers regarding sales and product inquiries.
You will develop and maintain strong rapport with customers in your territory and work with the Sales Manager and Sales Executives to align goals, priorities, and methodologies for your territory.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you should have at least 1 year of previous experience in sales or customer service (not retail).
You should be highly motivated with a desire to be successful, have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, a strong understanding of Internet-based tools and MS Office apps, and a commitment to providing 'World-class' customer service.
You should also be able to learn about and speak confidently regarding a wide range of technology products, have excellent listening skills, and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections.
