Job Title: Janitor Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Janitor Supervisor to join our team at 2236629 ALBERTA INC. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise a team of 5-10 janitors, caretakers, and building superintendents to ensure efficient and effective cleaning services.
  • Operations: Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met, and prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning services.
  • Training and Development: Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Communication: Co-ordinate work activities with other departments and establish work schedules to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and judgement.
Work Environment:

This is a temporary position with a 40-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to relocate.
