About the Role

Magna Exteriors is seeking a skilled professional to administer health services, including health and wellness initiatives, WSIB claims management, return to work, and medical surveillance programs.

Your Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing WSIB administration, including documentation, claims submission, appeals, and modified work programs
  • Coordinating return to work assessments and monitoring employees returning from disability and WSIB
  • Promoting and supporting wellness initiatives in conjunction with Magna Wellness
  • Respirator fit testing
  • Managing medical surveillance programs, including audiometry, vision screening, pulmonary function testing, and Isocyanate programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) disability claims management
  • Proven experience managing return to work programs
  • Current certificate in First Aid/CPR
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario Health & Safety Act and Regulations
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Spirometry & Audiometry experience is an asset
  • Respirator fit test certification is an asset
Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a University/College program in one of the following:

  • RN, RPN, with Occupational Health designation preferred
  • Paramedic or other related program
  • Disability Management diploma/certificate
