We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Trillium Midwives. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.
Key Responsibilities- Client Communication: Interview patients to obtain case histories, schedule and confirm appointments, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Administrative Support: Maintain filing systems, order supplies, and initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Perform data entry, assemble data, and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
- Office Management: Co-ordinate and plan for office services, assist in the preparation of operating budgets, and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Security and Safety: Ensure the security and safety of our clients and staff by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to security protocols.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical office setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
