Sales Director

The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team at the facility to meet individual and departmental sales goals. This role will oversee the overall sales strategy and tactics for the facility, including sales tools and materials, proposals, sales calls, and contracts.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales goals, objectives, and policies
- Manage and participate in the development of sales programs and activities
- Assume management responsibility for all services and activities of the Sales Department
- Select, train, motivate, and evaluate sales personnel
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for providing marketing, booking, and sales services
- Participate in the development and administration of the annual budget
- Prepare written proposals and initiate contractual arrangements
- Conduct tours of the facility for potential licensees
- Meet with General Manager on a regular basis to discuss sales operations
- Minimum of five to seven years of increasingly responsible sales experience
- Bachelor's degree or better from an accredited college or university
- Ability to work event nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Strong track record of building relationships and generating new business
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership skills, customer service skills
- Enthusiastic and positive thinker
- Strong PC and data processing skills
