Overview
The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team at the facility to meet individual and departmental sales goals. This role will oversee the overall sales operations, including establishing goals, procedures, and daily duties for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and participate in the development and implementation of sales programs and activities
- Select, train, motivate, and evaluate sales personnel
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for providing marketing, booking, and sales services
- Prepare written proposals and initiate contractual arrangements
- Conduct tours of the facility for potential clients and answer questions regarding facility capabilities
- Meet with the General Manager on a regular basis to discuss sales operations
- Travel to regional areas to search for new business opportunities
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five to seven years of increasingly responsible sales experience, including supervisory responsibility
- Bachelor's degree or better from an accredited college or university with major course works in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Ability to work event nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Strong track record of building relationships and generating new business
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership skills, customer service skills
- Enthusiastic and positive thinker
- Strong PC and data processing skills, including MS Word, Excel, and database management software
What We Offer:
- Salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 plus bonus
