About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Benefits Consultant to join our team at Gallagher. As a member of our Benefits and HR consulting team, you will play a key role in helping our clients build workplaces that work better.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and acquire new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients, with a focus on small to mid-size companies with high revenue.
- Participate in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel to drive revenue growth.
- Develop a pipeline of business opportunities that are an appropriate mix of new clients and account expansion.
- Introduce Gallagher's full-service offering to broaden the scope and impact of client relationships.
- Assist, educate, and mentor other staff members in new client sales situations and existing client service requirements.
- Convey deep technical expertise and business insight to help clients evaluate opportunities to reduce cost, risk, and improve the overall competitiveness of benefits, retirement, and HR services.
- Stay ahead of industry, market, and legislative trends that impact health & welfare plan design, delivery, and compliance.
- Develop proposals that are fiscally sound, reflect an appropriate investment in the client, and demonstrate the overall capabilities of Gallagher.
- Establish and maintain inter-division/intercompany relationships consistent with our workplace culture.
About You
- You will be successful if you possess significant consultative B2B sales experience and have developed new business as well as maintained an existing customer base.
- Experience in the Benefits Administration and Consulting industry is ideal.
- You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team selling environment, and be results-oriented.
- You will have a real passion for building relationships and collaborating toward success.
