About the Role

As a Practical Nurse with Pro Vita Care Management, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a nursing home/home for the aged setting. Your duties will include administering medications, applying aseptic techniques, conducting specimen collection, ensuring infection control, monitoring nutritional intake, observing and recording medication's therapeutic and side effects, taking vital signs, cleaning and sterilizing the operating room and instruments, providing pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care, monitoring established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy, providing safety and health education to individuals and their families, and providing nursing services within defined scope of practice.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong educational background, completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you must be reliable, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including dental plan, health care plan, vision care benefits, and a wellness program.
