About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Ethnic Collections. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store is always well-stocked and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members.
    • Assign tasks and duties to staff members to ensure that the store is running efficiently.
  • Store Operations
    • Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's finances.
    • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that the store is always well-stocked.
    • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service and sales.
    • Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory role.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
