Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Lawson Jackpot Convenience Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of the store, including supervising sales staff, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Sales and Merchandising: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to increase sales and improve merchandising displays.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
- Financial Management: Manage cash handling, process transactions, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail management experience.
- Work Setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, dependability, initiative, and judgment.
