Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Baycrest. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient scheduling of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule staffing within a computerized environment, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare, post, and maintain staffing schedules and attendance records with precision.
  • Order supplies, files, and perform other clerical duties as assigned by management.
  • Provide exceptional support to registered staff, residents, and managers.
  • Distribute mail and schedule resident care conferences, appointments, and transportation arrangements.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments as required.
Qualifications:
  • At least one year of recent experience in a related clerical role, preferably in a healthcare setting or completion of a recognized Office Administration – Medical program.
  • Experience with computerized scheduling environments is highly preferred.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills (40 wpm), proficiency in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Prior experience with Kronos and Meditech is a significant advantage.
  • Working in a unionized environment is desirable.
  • A basic understanding of medical terminology is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical.

Compensation:
