This position is a key member of the Broadcast Technical team at Woodbine Entertainment Group, responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of broadcast and audio-visual systems across our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, install, and maintain broadcast, audio-visual, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Recommend procurement of materials needed to maintain and improve the Broadcast department, aligning with our company's strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the maintenance, distribution, and installation of televisions throughout our properties, ensuring a high-quality viewing experience for our guests.
Key Success Factors
  • Proven technical broadcast experience, with a strong understanding of online and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of NTSC and ATSC broadcast technical standards, as well as familiarity with broadcast production.
  • Proficiency in wiring for video, audio, intercom, and RF systems.
  • Advanced organization, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Post-secondary diploma or certification in television technology or a related field.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work shift work, including days, afternoons, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Travel between Woodbine, Mohawk, and other corporate properties as needed to support our operations.
