Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our team at Brandt. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing key business strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction in the compact construction equipment market.

About the Role: In this exciting role, you will be responsible for prospecting and developing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and growing existing customer relationships. You will work closely with our sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and develop and execute key business strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Developing New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with new and existing customers, following trends in the market, and aggressively discovering leads.
  • Maintaining and Growing Existing Customer Relationships: Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular customer interactions in the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Providing Ongoing Customer Service: Follow up with and provide ongoing customer service to existing customers to ensure repeat and referral business.
  • Developing and Maintaining Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain product knowledge of all compact construction equipment offered at Brandt.
  • Meeting Sales Targets: Meet or exceed all sales targets and performance indicators.
  • Completing Sales Documentation: Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Strong Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Highly Motivated and Ambitious: Highly motivated, ambitious, and energetic entrepreneurial outlook to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to Source and Prospect New Clients: Ability to source and prospect new clients on an ongoing basis.
  • Ability to Present and Negotiate: Ability to present and negotiate with potential customers.
  • Travel Requirements: Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract and valid passport are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales Industry Experience: Sales industry experience and/or knowledge of the compact construction industry is considered an asset.
  • Proficient Computer Knowledge: Proficient computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft office suite.
