We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team. The Director of Sales and Growth will spearhead sales strategies, drive growth, and lead the sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, an interest in the craft beer industry, and a network of contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the company's comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the long-term goals and growth objectives of the company.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximize performance and growth while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Set clear performance expectations with the team, including regular performance reviews with constructive feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's growth strategy.
  • Work closely with the production team to align sales forecasts with production planning and inventory management.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to track performance and regularly report on sales figures, market trends, and competitor insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in sales with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to effectively manage and motivate a team to achieve goals.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and accounts.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, think proactively, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and a passion for the craft beer industry, particularly within our region, would be an asset.
