As a Patient Scheduling Specialist with BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and experience.

Your Key Responsibilities



  • Schedule and book patient appointments using a computerized scheduling system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Receive and register patients, verifying their demographic information and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain client charts, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Process referrals, gathering necessary information and data entry.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to schedule new referrals based on clinical indicators.

About You


We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field, combined with Grade 12 completion or equivalent, is required.
