At Wok Box, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Counter Attendant to join our dynamic team. As a Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience by efficiently processing orders, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.



Key Responsibilities


  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and sanitation.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Stock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas with supplies and ingredients.
  • Prepare and serve food to customers, including heating and finishing simple food items.
  • Manage cash transactions and process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as food safety, customer service, and cash handling.


Requirements and Qualifications


  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly in a busy kitchen environment.


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities


  • Fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers and orders.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods, with occasional sitting and walking.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.
