About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jungle Jim's Restaurant. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our kitchen staff, including preparing and portioning food, maintaining inventory, and cleaning kitchen areas.
  • Maintain Quality Control Standards: You will ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, including ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to perfection.
  • Train and Develop Staff: You will be responsible for training and developing our kitchen staff, including teaching them about preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inspect Kitchens and Food Service Areas: You will regularly inspect our kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, organized, and meet our high standards.
Requirements:
  • Secondary School Graduation Certificate: You must have a secondary school graduation certificate as your minimum educational requirement.
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: You must have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
Work Environment:

You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of dedicated professionals. You will be required to work 35-40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
