Job Description

Mary Brown's Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent position offering an attractive salary and excellent benefits.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation and service meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

You will work closely with our chef to estimate ingredient and supply requirements, prepare budgets and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage.

As a key member of our team, you will also be responsible for training new staff members, addressing customer complaints, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the food service industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff members
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
