Job Description:

As a Senior Digital Advertising Specialist on our Consumer Electronics & Media team in Canada, you will leverage your industry background and experience selling digital advertising solutions to large advertisers and their ad agencies in Canada to successfully grow and scale their business. Through client-side and agency relationships, a consultative approach, and understanding of the digital advertising landscape, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned brands or clients and sell a range of advertising solutions to help meet - and exceed - their business goals. As an individual contributor, you'll be supported by our cross-functional support teams and will benefit from working alongside the leadership team that has driven the explosive growth of the Ads business in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high levels of sales and customer service to agency and brand media clients.
• Demonstrate internal leadership across account teams and partner groups.
• Build and execute overarching full-funnel strategies from big ideas to analytical recommendations.
• Create new relationships with clients at all levels within large advertiser organizations.
• Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers.
• Identify net new revenue opportunities from existing advertisers.
• Understand Amazon's display, video, and programmatic advertising opportunities and tools to help build relevant advertising solutions for advertisers.
• Utilize sales CRM tools to track pertinent account information and sales progress, as well as forecast to achieve quarterly quota goals.
• Exhibit knowledge of the Consumer Electronics (e.g. PC, Audio) and/or Media industry (e.g. Video Games) and competitive environment.
• This role requires a minimum of three days a week working from the Toronto office and may involve travel as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals with 5+ years of B2B sales experience, 5+ years of digital media ad sales experience, and a proven track record of closing sales and revenue generation. Additionally, experience identifying and aggregating trends, past performance metrics, and insights into effective narratives, with recommendations, to external senior leaders is essential. Building client and agency ad partnerships is also crucial for this role.

Benefits:

At Amazon, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The estimated annual salary for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 CAD, based on location and experience.
