**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Government Relations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all government-related sales, grants, and legislative activities relevant to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute government sales strategies to drive sales and foster strategic relationships with key government officials.
- Lead the development and execution of government relations strategies, ensuring compliance with government policies and regulatory requirements.
- Secure government contracts and funding opportunities to support the overall success and expansion of T-Net British Columbia.
- Build and maintain relationships with key government officials, navigate regulatory landscapes, and ensure compliance with government policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align government relations strategies with company goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in political science, business, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years' experience in government relations or defense sales.
- Existing network of government and defense industry contacts in Canada and/or the United States.
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of securing government contracts and funding.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic planning and execution experience.
