Regional Sales Director Job Description

Mohawk is seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Director to drive business growth and development in Canada.

This role is responsible for leading a team of Account Executives and developing targeted business strategies with key clients across all commercial segments.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Vice President and execute strategies to grow the Mohawk brand and business in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies with targeted accounts
  • Mentor and coach the Account Executive team to achieve sales results
  • Ensure commercial sales business plans are aligned with regional RVP strategies and objectives
  • Represent the commercial business unit and implement trade activity calendars to exploit business opportunities
  • Establish sales objectives for the region and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • ~5-7 or more years of related work experience and any combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales concepts, product development, and distribution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and business lines
