About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Investment and Community Engagement. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading organization in the non-profit sector, driving strategic partnerships and community development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community groups to advance our mission and goals.
  • Lead community development initiatives, including research, planning, and implementation, to address emerging needs and trends.
  • Collaborate with our Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement organizational strategies, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, and partners.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and research, applying this knowledge to inform our strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful partnerships and community development initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of community development principles, practices, and trends.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial management, and resource development.
