We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Services Manager to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the operation, functioning, and quality of assigned Primary Health Care programs and services.
The successful candidate will engage with primary health care, acute and tertiary care, public health, leadership community, clinical teams, and community partners to support the mission, vision, values, and policies of Nova Scotia Health. You will play a critical role in supporting the development, implementation, operation, and evaluation of primary health care programs and initiatives within the zone and across the province.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to lead self and oversee multiple strategic change projects and initiatives. You will engage others through partnerships to achieve results that facilitate system transformation and the development of strategic goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a baccalaureate degree from a health discipline or experience in a healthcare setting, with a master's degree preferred. You will have a minimum of 5-7 years of recent and related leadership/management experience in a healthcare setting, with demonstrated experience in initiating and managing multiple projects.
The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with various professional and community individuals. You will have a high level of sound judgment, initiative, and self-direction, with the ability to make independent decisions related to responsibilities.

About You- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, internet, email, and the ability to use health information systems to support patient care
- Physical and mental capabilities to perform the duties of the position, including working irregular hours and under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Travel will be required, with a valid Nova Scotia Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Permanent Full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
- Shifts may include weekends, evenings, and holidays
$60.39 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
