Position Overview:

We're seeking a Commercial Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in managing and growing key client relationships at a provincial level. As a dynamic professional, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential clients in the transportation sector and develop strategies to attract and retain them.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted sales pitches and marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential new market opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Prepare regular sales and pipeline reports to update senior management on business development activities and progress.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A proven track record as a Business Development Manager or similar role in logistics.
  • Demonstrable experience achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • A strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
