Role Overview

The Sales Support Coordinator will play a crucial role in assisting the sales team and customers at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to handle various sales activities and customer requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support sales team members by handling activities across the sales process.
  • Process inbound requests from customers and sellers via email and phone.
  • Send emails to sellers, clients, and hotels using Salesforce and Outlook.
  • Process urgent incoming opportunities and complete bookings within strict service levels.
  • Source hotel locations for extended stay or project requests.
  • Complete modifications to or cancel bookings.
  • Use multiple reservation systems to move check-out dates or make other modifications.
  • Engage with hotels to push reservations through on sold-out properties.
  • Ensure IATA and Corporate IDs are attached to all reservations required.
  • Create and run reports for investigating bookings to ensure accuracy of all data.
  • Collaborate with the Wyndham Commissions team for account consolidation.
  • Complete folio retrieval for all bookings in all systems.
  • Develop a streamlined process for folio retrieval when unable to pull folios.
  • Complete additional administrative functions as required by the GSO Team or Account.
Requirements
  • Ability to work through company-provided training and self-paced training.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Sabre, Synxis, and Opera is an asset.
