Job Title: Grease System Operator

Darling International Canada Inc. is a leading provider of natural and sustainable ingredients for the food, feed, and fuel sectors. As a Grease System Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and environmentally responsible management of used cooking oil (UCO) and other products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offload UCO from tankers and drums, and products for rendering from trailers and straight trucks.
  • Filter finished product and load trucks with Meat Meal and Tallow.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety protocols and HACCP procedures.
  • Maintain, clean, and keep orderly the departments, including shunt trucks, fleet tractors, and trailers.
  • Drive heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork.
  • Communicate reportable incidents and effectively deal with issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Class G drivers' license.
  • Provincial Secondary School Graduate Diploma or greater.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to Darling Ingredients company values.
What We Offer:
  • $26.85 per hour and overtime after 40 hours.
