Grease System Operator

Darling International Canada Inc. is a leading provider of natural and sustainable ingredients for the food, feed, and fuel sectors. As a Grease System Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and environmentally responsible management of used cooking oil (UCO) and other products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offload UCO from tankers and drums
- Offload products for rendering from trailers and straight trucks
- Filter finished product
- Load trucks with finished product Meat Meal and Tallow
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety protocols
- Follow HACCP protocols and complete all necessary paperwork
- Maintain, clean, and keep orderly the departments
- Ensure shunt trucks, fleet tractors, and trailers are in a clean and presentable condition
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork
- Communicate reportable incidents and effectively deal with issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Class G drivers' license
- Provincial Secondary School Graduate Diploma or greater
- Flexibility to work shifts as required
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
