Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Grease System Operator to join our team at Darling International Canada Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our grease system, ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offload used cooking oil from tankers and drums
  • Offload products for rendering from trailers and straight trucks
  • Filter finished product
  • Load trucks with finished product Meat Meal and Tallow
  • Follow all Health and Safety protocols
  • Follow all HACCP protocols, including completion of all paperwork
  • Maintain, clean, and keep orderly the departments
  • Ensure shunt trucks, fleet tractors, and trailers are in a clean and presentable condition
  • Capable of driving heavy equipment and ensure safe driving operations
  • Accurate completion and submission of all required paperwork
  • Responsible for following all company health and safety rules and for communicating all reportable incidents
Requirements
  • Class G drivers' license
  • Provincial Secondary School Graduate Diploma or greater
  • Must be flexible to work shifts as required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to Darling Ingredients company values
