About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales Operations Director to join our team at Women in Payments. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our Sales Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with our Chief Revenue Officer to develop and execute our Sales GTM strategy, identifying optimization opportunities and gaps, and providing solutions.
  • Competitive Strategy: Support the development of competitive strategy and intelligence, industry/vertical strategy, and sales process support.
  • Market Insights: Drive market insights and inform changes related to key market factors and performance insights.
  • Project Management: Lead and project manage ad hoc sales projects as needed, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and motivate a team of direct and indirect reports, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with executives and senior leaders, presenting complex data in a consumable format.
  • Process Improvement: Implement process changes and enhancements to optimize Sales GTM operations, ensuring internal alignment and an optimized approach to selling.
Requirements
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or business, or equivalent experience. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 12+ years' related sales, go-to-market strategy experience, preferably in a high growth mid-market fintech environment.
  • Skills: Proven strong project and time management experience, demonstrated experience leading and motivating a team, and ability to build and drive new ways of working.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team leader and coach, with a GSD (Get Stuff Done) mentality and entrepreneurial spirit.
