V Eatery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation, ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for managing a team of cooks, developing menus, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of cooks to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet customer demand
  • Train and develop staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong background in culinary arts, with a focus on menu development and kitchen management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control
