Job Title: Director of Project Management

At Canada West Ski Areas Association, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Project Management to lead our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences across our Nordic skiing and snowshoe trail systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health & Safety/Risk Management: Champion and promote all OHS company policies, programs, and procedures, ensuring all team members have completed annual training and on-boarding.
  • Foster a Positive Environment: Create a workplace where team members can grow and expand their skill set, and have a rewarding work experience.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and expand existing revenue streams, and seek new revenue avenues, while managing operating costs, labor, and margin in all lines of business.
  • Operations Management: Provide oversight and coordination of operations throughout the Nordic area to ensure maximum efficiency, and coordinate with operational support departments.

Requirements:

  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Proficient with MS Office and other computer systems and applications
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule according to the demands of the business
  • 4+ years relevant management experience in the ski industry
  • Nordic Skiing experience an asset
