Job Title: Director of Project Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Project Management to join our team at Canada West Ski Areas Association.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 150 Nordic seasonal employees across seven departments, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. Key responsibilities include:

Health & Safety/Risk Management
  • Champion and promote all OHS company policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Ensure all team members have completed annual training and on-boarding, including OHS documentation.
Financial Management
  • Monitor and expand existing revenue streams and seek new revenue avenues.
  • Manage operating costs, labour, and margin in all lines of business.
Operations Management
  • Provide oversight and coordination of operations throughout the Nordic area to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate with operational support departments (Grooming, Snow Removal, F&B, Maintenance).

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, proficiency in MS Office and other computer systems, and the ability to work a flexible schedule according to business demands. A minimum of 4 years of relevant management experience in the ski industry is required, with Nordic skiing experience being an asset.

  • Valid BC Driver's License.
  • Season pass(es) for immediate family (including partner and children).
  • Retail and Food discounts.
