Project Manager

Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the delivery of projects in the mining, energy, and heavy industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Review and approve engineering designs to ensure they meet project specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and materials to maintain project standards.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts to inform project decisions.
  • Manage resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining or construction industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (asset).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including MS Project.
  • Experience with construction projects and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
