About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our Strategic Solutions and Partnerships team. As a key member of our team, you will provide consultation, assessment, and planned interventions for diverse client groups, working within a continuous quality improvement framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Assess and diagnose clients in all age groups through the selection and administration of standardized and non-standardized tests.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized goal-directed treatment programs based on case history, assessment results, current professional practices, and College standards.
  • Client Progress Monitoring: Monitor client progress and evaluate treatment and management on an ongoing basis.
  • Counseling and Education: Counsel and educate clients, caregivers, and family members regarding the nature and management of communication deficits.
  • Discharge Planning: Assist in client discharge planning in conjunction with the client, family members, and other members of the health care team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's Degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Membership in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Eligibility for membership in the Ontario Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
  • A minimum of two years clinical experience and knowledge of community care requirements and resources available.
  • Expertise in the management of clients with complex communication disorders.
  • Clinical expertise to provide a variety of speech language pathology interventions.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
