About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Keller Executive Search. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing technical solutions to meet those needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities

Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients, leveraging your knowledge of the manufacturing industry and automated systems.

Build and Maintain Strong Customer Relationships

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Provide Technical Support and Expertise

Provide technical support and expertise in product demonstrations and presentations, ensuring that customers understand the value and benefits of our automated systems.

Collaborate with Internal Teams

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation, driving business growth and revenue.

Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' activities, providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive business success.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Related Field

A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required, with a strong understanding of automated systems and manufacturing processes.

Project Management Certification

Any Project Management certification, such as PMP, would be advantageous in this role.

Minimum of 3 Years of Experience in Technical Sales

A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors, is required.

Strong Understanding of the United States and Canadian Markets

A strong understanding of the United States and Canadian markets, with the ability to identify key players and emerging opportunities, is essential.

Strong Communication and Presentation Skills

Strong communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals.

Ability to Understand and Explain Technical Concepts

The ability to understand and explain technical concepts effectively is crucial in this role, ensuring that customers understand the value and benefits of our automated systems.

Proven Track Record of Meeting Sales Targets

A proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth is essential in this role.

Willingness to Travel

The willingness to travel as needed is required, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
