We are seeking a seasoned business analyst consultant to contribute to our Toronto division, focusing on capital markets initiatives. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with dynamic business stakeholders and technology teams on a diverse array of projects, each varying in complexity and risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to create, update, and refine User Stories.
  • Identify and clarify business requirements in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to oversee applications and address business or technical alerts.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in the Capital Markets Regulatory Reporting landscape.
  • Engage in Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Scrums, Planning, and Reviews.
  • Report trade-related issues to Senior Management and Compliance as necessary.
  • Foster effective communication and rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners throughout project lifecycles.
  • Assist in interpreting internal and external policies and regulatory requirements pertinent to analytics.
  • Support the formulation and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in delivering business requirements for G20 regulations, including trade reporting.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in regulatory reporting and the repos (repurchase agreement) domain.
  • Comprehensive understanding of G20 regulations, particularly in trade reporting.
  • Familiarity with global trade repository specifications (DTCC, UnaVista) is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will possess creativity, a results-oriented mindset, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
