About This Role

Sanctuary Cognitive Systems Corp. is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Director of Government Relations. This key position will be responsible for managing all government-related sales, grants, and legislative activities relevant to our organization.

The Director of Government Relations will lead the development and execution of government sales strategies, build and maintain relationships with key government officials, navigate regulatory landscapes, and ensure compliance with government policies. Securing government contracts and funding opportunities will play a pivotal role in the overall success and expansion of Sanctuary Cognitive Systems Corp.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute government sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with key government officials and stakeholders
  • Navigate regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance with government policies
  • Secure government contracts and funding opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align government relations strategies with company goals
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of Sanctuary Cognitive Systems Corp.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in political science, business, or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years' experience in government relations or defense sales
  • Existing network of government and defense industry contacts
  • Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes and compliance requirements
  • Proven track record of securing government contracts and funding
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in political science, business, or related field
  • Experience working with government agencies and defense contractors
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations
  • Fluency in a second language
