Job Title: Regional Director of Disability Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Disability Services team in Winnipeg. As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of programs and services that support adults living with an intellectual disability, and children with disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the delivery of programs and services that support adults living with an intellectual disability, and children with disabilities and their families.
  • Provide advice and support to the Executive Director responsible for Regional Social Services.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the delivery of disability services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and external resources.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and programs related to disability services.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in social work, business, or public administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in social services, including program delivery, oversight, evaluation, and financial management.
  • Proven leadership skills with a commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Political acumen, with experience providing strategic advice to senior leaders on complex topics and sensitive issues.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial management.
